Participation in a study: Assessing Safety Culture among the radiation therapy Multi-Disciplinary Team

Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Jim O’Boyle. I am a final year student in the BSc in Radiation Therapy in Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. I would like to invite you to support a research project which I am conducting for my final year project.

My research involves assessing safety culture in radiation oncology multi-disciplinary teams. It has been shown that a strong patient safety culture is associated with fewer incidents and a safer working environment for staff and patients, so it is an important area for research.

Participation in this research involves completing an online questionnaire, which should take no longer than 10-15 minutes to complete. All responses will be anonymous, and the information provided will not identify departments or individuals. Data collected will be used for the purpose of this research only. If you are interested in participating, please click the link provided below and the survey will begin.

Please note that by proceeding you are implying that you are giving consent for your anonymous responses to be analysed as part of this research. You have the right to discontinue participation in this survey at any point prior to completion of the survey.

This study has been approved by the research ethics committees of the School of Medicine, Trinity College Dublin.
